COVID-19 Restrictions

The Township Ambulance Authority is considered a critical infrastructure employer, providing healthcare services to the community we serve. We will continue to operate in our normal geographic areas. Administrative services will continue to be provided during our normal business hours. However, both of our Bellaire and Mancelona stations are currently closed to the public until further notice. Thank you for your continued support.


The Township Ambulance Authority is composed of nine Townships in Antrim County, Michigan, including Central Lake, Chestonia, Custer, Forest Home, Helena, Kearney, Mancelona, Star & Warner Townships.  This also includes the Villages of Mancelona, Bellaire and Central Lake.taa_logo

The Authority is funded by millages approved by the voters of each Township. These funds are deposited into a bank account held by the Authority and are used to fund and sustain the ambulance services for each member Township.

The Ambulance Authority Board currently meets on the last Tuesday of each month at the Mancelona Station at 120 West State Street, Mancelona, MI.

Meetings are open to the public in accordance with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act.
